We participate in initiatives and programs aiming to improve the quality of life of our fellow people (e.g., Campaigns for Preventive Medicine and Information campaigns of Citizens on health-related issues, support of the activities of professional institutions). We reinforce the equipment of the country's public hospitals, aiming at their smooth operation, the more efficient hospitalization and as a consequence, the protection of people's health.
In the context of our collaboration with Non-Profitable Organizations and always realizing the difficulties faced by our fellow human beings and recognizing their needs, Greek pharmaceutical company Galenica stands and helps in the effort of the NPO to improve the conditions of both children and their families by sending medicines to meet their needs. Galenica offers pharmaceutical products directly to Non-Profitable Organizations such as: “The smile of the child”, “Ark of the world”, “Laboratory of Vocational education and training of Heraklion Crete” “Open Arms Hug”, Athens Municipality Reception and Solidarity Center, “Multipurpose protection center of Municipilaty of Vironas, Holy Metropolis of Nea Ionia, Nea Philadelphia, Heraklion and Chalkidona, “The Good Samaritan” Church Home for the Elderly in Nea Philadelphia & “The Virgin of Mercy (Panaghia Eleoussa)”
Moreover, through its Collective Bodies, the Panhellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Industries, and the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies, Galenica strengthens with medicines the Medical Association of Athens and other Municipalities, with the belief to help improve the quality of life of our fellow citizens.
Considering the corporate social actions of our group, we stand as helpers in requests of social pharmacies of Greece, with offers of our products. We respond immediately and with a sense of responsibility to these requests, either directly or through Associations / Collective Bodies, enhancing their social work as a provision of health care, to patients with various diseases that afflict them and who need to continue their medication regularly.
Galenica SA, in the context of supporting initiatives and actions of Associations / Collective Bodies of the Health Sector to respond to the urgent needs generated by the COVID-19, with sensitivity stood as a helper and participated with a donation to the Ministry of Health with protective equipment and supplies contributing to the further shielding of the National Health System.
